Dragon Tram by Tim Marsh

L'Epicerie Fine Art invited Tim Marsh to Hong Kong for his solo exhibition Geom3trical Acrobatics. While being in Hong Kong, he also painted a uniquely adorned tram celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Dragon's year and the 120th anniversary of the HK tramway company. This follows Tim Marsh's previous tram painting during the HKWalls festival in 2019, showcasing his commitment to integrating art into the city's vibrant urban landscape.

It took Tim Marsh 3 days to paint both sides of the tram with spray paint. On one side, we clearly see the Dragon which is a symbol of prosperity and power. On the other side, his abstract style came as being the tail of the Dragon which goes all round. It was a decision as not doing any symmetrical sides as we often see. 

The tram goes around Hong Kong Island for the whole month of February 2024 celebrating this new year.
